Mid Winter prewedding photoshoot in Queenstown | To Glenorchy and Back | Pre-wedding adventure with Tinted Photography
Sunrise to sunset, Queenstown to Glenorchy and back! It’s all here in this incredible mid Winter prewedding photoshoot in Queenstown.
Unfamiliar surroundings, fresh experiences, and fresh breezes, Weixen and Ryu are the kind of peeps who just fall into it feet first and belly laughing! This was the third day we had spent adventuring across the South Island with these two. After experiencing ancient glacial ice burgs, sudden icy downpours, super pointy plants, snowy vistas and some truely magical night skys (click here to see all that) it seemed like we would be hard-pressed to finish up with a bang, but boy, were we wrong!
In winter the sun doesn’t rise here until about 8:30am, yet still, dawn in Queenstown was a frosty affair. Weixen and Ryu had to work hard to keep each other warm and obviously, it paid off as their photos are so gorge!! One coffee and a couple of hours later we arrived at the aptly named ‘Gateway to Paradise’ Glenorchy. We bounced down gravel roads, tread in moss as deep as our ankles, dodged copious amounts of cow poop for a view that just wouldn’t quit and somehow found ways to make an old red boatshed look super epic (the secret was in our couple). We had a total blast exploring new spots and discussing love and life along the way, but the day wasn’t over yet!
After hustling back to Queenstown, we steamed on up another mountain to witness the type of sunset that just calms the soul and makes romance so damn easy <3 But, wait why are you still reading this when the story of Weixen and Ryu’s incredible
