It wasn’t long ago that we were nestled in the ancient and quiet streets of Bologna’s old quarter for a stunning sunrise session on the morning of Katriina and Luca’s wedding day.
Now here we are again, back and ready to roll after a couple of hours kip and a coffee, with the rest of their gorgeous modern Italian wedding celebration.
So it was, we found ourselves mid-morning waiting for Luca’s totaly Italian Maserati to roll up the drive for a super gorgeous and emotional first look before the festivities truly began.
Following the Italian motoring icon, we all arrived a short time later at the Taverna Tamburini, an incredible historical villa surrounded by golden fields of quietly rustling wheat.
Built in 1711 and adorned with frescos of the same vintage we were completely absorbed by the chillaxed vibe this place gave off on this perfect summers day!
This is where these two rad humans, surrounded by their family and friends,
would proclaim their love for one another and, of course, party the night away!
The ceremony was so intimate and full of laughter, games and great vibes! Then it was confetti all around and drinks on the lawn followed by a mouth-watering traditional Italian six-course meal. During which, we stole away with Katriina and Luca to explore a forgotten church together and catch the sunset in drone-o-vision
as it vanished spectacularly behind the ever golden and rustling wheat fields.
When we returned Luca got his old band back together for a wee comeback tour, Katriina introduced a choice selection of Finish liquors from her homeland and we heard some really
beautiful speeches before the beer pong and party vibe rocked out into the quiet countryside to finish out an amazing day.
