Emma and Kent met in 2008 in mainland China.
Whatever we say about them will never be enough! They are two glorious humans who we had the pleasure of spending a whole beautiful day with in the South Island for a Mount Cook Elopement.
When we were preparing for Emma and Kent’s day with us, we knew it would be full of joy and love soaked moments – but we had no idea that we would be this touched by the love they share.
Emma and Kent are very different people and when they are together they lose nothing of themselves and yet retain nothing of themselves.
They are two glowing souls emitting love.
On the day, we met them on the side of the road and then jumped out of our respective cars for massive hugs. We then travelled together to the remote parts of the island to photograph some intimate moments.
We absolutely enjoyed them showing New Zealand and letting them get lost in the beauty of it all.
At the back of our heads, we were constantly thinking about the moment they will be reading their vows to each other and couldn’t wait for the evening to roll in quick enough…
We will let you scroll down to see that moment – it was full of tears! (we were crying tears of joy too!)
While travelling and photographing, we loved hanging out with them and all of us laughed so much and share stories with each other that we knew these two will turn into friends!
We are stoked how well the photos capture their connection to each other and the joy of their Mount Cook Elopement
